<The 2nd Korean Philosophy and Culture Digital Convergence Talent Contest>
Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Foreign Studies and Oriental Studies will hold the 2nd Korean Philosophy and Cultural Digital Convergence Talent Contest as follows to enhance interest and challenge Korean philosophy research and Korean cultural contents using digital methodology.
[Purpose of the contest]
- It aims to discover convergence projects that can create new meaning and value starting from 'Korean things' by publicizing research and contents related to Korean philosophy and culture planned and developed using digital methodology
- Promoting interest in Korean philosophy and digital humanities to undergraduate students in our school, developing the ability to utilize digital methodology, and providing opportunities for student-led team projects on the subject of Korean philosophy and culture
[Qualified to participate]
A team consisting of about four members, including at least two, as undergraduate students at Sungkyunkwan University
※ Students enrolled in the second semester of 2023 (those who have completed 12 or more credits (nine credits immediately before the final semester) and have an average rating of 2.0 or higher)
※ individual Participation is possible, but team participation is recommended for the purpose of the contest
[Main schedule]
- The method of producing the results of the second finals for the selected proposals after the first application for participation and the proposal contest
1. Application for participation and proposal contest deadline: November 30th (Thursday)
2. Final entry announced: December 4th (Monday)
3. Final Results Submission Deadline: December 19th (Tue)
4. Final Results Presentation: December 20th (Wednesday)

[Criteria for each category]
1. a research section
Research Planning Using Digital Methodology on the Subject of Korean Philosophy and Culture
Submit an abstract of the thesis (describe more details than general thesis abstracts, but write in around 5 pages including references)
2. Content Division
Development of contents using digital methodology under the theme of Korean philosophy and culture
Freeform submission (apps, games, chatbots, etc.)
