1. Recruitment target and eligibility for application
① Students in the 3rd and 4th grades and graduate students
(Only enrolled students possible, not on leave or completion students, theory and practice TA cannot be active at the same time, and other DS subject TA cannot be active at the same time.)
② Those who have completed computing thinking and SW coding, problem solving and algorithms both have A or higher grades (not applicable to those who entered before 2016)
③ Excel (intermediate or higher), Python users
④ A person who has more than A credits among those who have completed data structures or algorithms in the course
⑤ If you're a graduate student, it's your national health insurancePersons who are registered as reverse subscribers (job subscribers are not allowed to work, undergraduate students are not applicable)
⑥ Those who are scheduled to take a leave of absence or take a leave of absence in the second semester of 2023 cannot apply
⑦ Need to collaborate and communicate smoothly between TAs
⑧ In the case of theoretical TA, only those with an average academic score of 2.0 or higher in the previous semester and 12 or more credits in the previous semester can apply
※ 1~3 are mandatory qualification conditions, but those who meet the condition 4 can apply if they have more than B credits in computing thinking and SW coding, problem solving and algorithms
※ You can apply in duplicate with other DS subjects, but you do not select in duplicate.
2. Activity roles by TA
- Common: Supervision of the final exam (scheduled for the weekend of the 15th week, online/offline methods are subject to teaching discretion)
(1) Theoretical TA: Performance management, final test scoring, and requested work by lecture professors
(2) Practice TA: Answering student questions (learning fair, class), scoring practical tasks, and writing comments
※ Theoretical TA and practical TA roles may change depending on the division
3. TA fee
- Theoretical TA: Refer to the attached file recruitment notice
- Training TA: KRW 600,000/semester per operating unit (before tax)
※ Theoretical TA and practical TA operating units are different. Depending on the assigned course, there may be individual variation in the number of students, see Google application
※ Theoretical TA fee: End of semester payment, practical TA fee: Monthly payment
※ TA expenses may change depending on the budgeting of labor costs
4. Pass and distribution notice, TA workshop schedule
- Notice of acceptance and distribution: August 23, 2023 (Wednesday) 11:00
- Meeting with TA Workshop and Professor in charge of division: August 25, 2023 (Fri) around 14:00, place announcement later
※ Only the final successful candidates will be notified individually, and subsequent meetings with TA workshops and professors in charge must be attended. TA activity is not possible if not present
5. Period and method of application

6. Precautions (required reading)
- When the final test is conducted, you are obligated to supervise the test, and if you are assigned three operating units, you are obligated to supervise the test three times regardless of the professor in charge. And if there is a related event (learning fair), there may be a request for TA activities, so you must attend.
- Theoretical and practical TA can be supported at the same time. Based on the application form, it will be placed in the right place after an internal meeting of the DS Education Center. Not all supported operating units are assigned.
- For TA applicants, the maximum amount of labor costs for master's and doctoral students is limited. In particular, labor costs cannot be paid for the excess amount, so please check out graduate students participating in other projects and research projects.
- In the case of Theoretical TA, only those with an average academic score of 2.0 or higher in the previous semester (excluding excellent physical education scholarships) and those with 12 or more credits in the previous semester (excluding graduate students, excellent physical education scholarships, and scholarships for children of national merit) can apply. TA selection may be canceled later even if you are selected due to the wrong entry on the Google form.
