2023 Announcement of applications for participation in Industry-Academic Cooperation Projects
Applications for the 2023 industry-academic cooperation project are available.
Students should refer to the following and apply.
(Planned to carry out projects in online/offline depending on circumstances)
1. Project Overview: 2 to 5 students will be assigned to 19 companies, 20 projects.
2. Project Period: April to December 2023
3. Recruitment: Up to 110 people
4. Recruitment period: March 31st (Fri) 09:00 ~ April 6th (Thu) 24:00
5. Applicants: Software and computer engineering major students (double majoring students cannot apply)

※ However, if students who have participated more than three times in Industry-Academic Cooperation Projects want to participate, Please contact Sung Min-ju (sungmj@skku.edu ) separately.
A. Juniors who participated in the Industry-Academic Cooperation Project in sophomore year can re-participate.
B. Unable to apply when planning to support military service or taking a leave of absence from school
C. Academic support funds for undergraduate researchers and practical assistants (SW-centered university project) cannot be applied in duplicate

B. Write 1st, 2nd, and 3rd applications focusing on 20 corporate topics or keywords

C. If the number of people exceeds in the number of first-priority projects, the students are allocated in the second-priority project, and if the number of people exceeds in the first and second-priority projects, the students are allocated in the third-priority project.
* If the number of people exceeds in the first, second, and third priority, the students can be assigned randomly
* rules of assignment
- Assigned to priority application support team (by examination of the professor in charge)
- If the application support team exceeds the number of applicants, the judging committee will decide by reviewing the portfolio

* It is to avoid overlapping assignments in Industry-Academic Project subjects 1, 2, and 3 for the second semester

B. Submitting Weekly or Bi-Weekly Reports: Project Progress and Plans
C. 1 million won will be paid in the second semester
D. Summer vacation_Must participate in 8 weeks of intensive summer work
* 3 million won will be paid when participating in intensive summer work - Details of the payment conditions will be announced later due to the change of the Ministry of Education's "Operation Regulations for College Student Field Training Semester"
* The place of intensive summer work may be in company or university depending on the company situation
※ However, the amount of intensive work during the Industry-Academia cooperation project and summer may be changed, and this part will be announced during the kick-off meeting
F. Application for courses in the industry-academic cooperation project in the second semester (mandatory)
* If you join the military, take a leave of absence or give up after participating in the Industry-Academia Cooperation Project, you will have to return the full amount of academic support subsidy.
8. Major Implementation Schedule
A. Announcement of student selection and team allocation results: April 07 (Fri) ~ 10 (Sun)
B. Participant OT: April 11 (Tue), offline (submission of a timetable to an industry-academic professor is needed to those who cannot participate)
C. Industry-academic cooperation launching ceremony: It will be held online or offline depending on the situation
D. Final presentation of industry-academia cooperation: December 2023, to be announced.
